Job Summary

Join our team in the role of Log Prep, where you will be part of the productive processing and preparation of logs used in the construction of a variety of log structures. This active position requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and a positive attitude. You will work outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties
Operate hand tools, power tools, and possibly heavy machinery safely to peel logs and prepare timber for further processing
Use basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently

Requirements
Prior construction experience or familiarity with manual labor tasks
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment confidently




Experience with outdoor work environments
Robust physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks safely
Willingness to learn current skills and an interest in wood

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
