Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for animals and a desire to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Duties:
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas for procedures
Take and record vital signs of animal patients
Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
Perform routine laboratory procedures, such as blood tests and urinalysis
Clean and sanitize equipment, instruments, and examination rooms
Provide post-operative care to animal patients
Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration





Experience:
Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred but not required
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus
