Pellet Mill Operator - Drayton, ON

Our client is looking for a Pellet Mill Operator to oversee the manufacturing of high-quality pelleted livestock feed.

Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor pellet mill machinery to produce high-quality pelleted livestock feed.
Set up, adjust, and fine-tune pellet mill equipment to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
Monitor steam, temperature, moisture, and die performance to ensure optimal pellet quality.
Inspect equipment for mechanical issues or abnormalities and report or address them as needed.
Handle raw ingredients during receiving and processing.




Operate computerized automation systems for feed production and ingredient management.

Qualifications:
High school school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing, pellet mill operations, or feed production an asset.
Knowledge of agriculture, livestock production, or the feed industry is beneficial.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Comfortable using computerized production and automation systems.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in a manufacturing setting.
