The Lead

Hand role is integral to supporting our breeder farm operations, focusing on animal care, team performance, and adherence to safety and biosecurity protocols. You will provide hands-on leadership, ensuring proper nutrition for the birds and managing daily operational tasks, all while maintaining logs of farm activities. This position requires weekend availability and may involve stepping in for supervisors as necessary to ensure smooth operation. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee egg collection and quality management
- Ensure routine cleaning and biosecurity compliance
- Monitor feeding schedules and manage inventory
- Facilitate team training and provide directions
- Maintain operational readiness of tools and resources Requirements:
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Experience with egg gathering preferred
- Supervisory skills are a plus
- Poultry experience beneficial
- Valid G driver’s license necessary Excel in animal welfare and team leadership while contributing to operational success in this important role.
