Founded in 2025, Norrel™ Inc. was established to introduce ThermStar System™ to the North American market. ThermStar System™ combines proven European heat recovery technology—with hundreds of successful installations across 13 countries—with North American engineering, controls, system integration, and ThermStar™ Power Intelligence SaaS.

We are entering the commercial growth stage of our Canadian expansion. Our first Québec industrial installation is scheduled for this fall with a major manufacturer, and we are actively engaged with Énergir through its industrial energy efficiency initiatives.

The Role

Your role is to establish ThermStar System™ throughout Québec and build our presence in an underserved category of industrial energy efficiency.

You will

- Develop and execute our Québec business development strategy.
- Leverage your established industrial relationships to identify opportunities and open doors.
- Engage manufacturers, engineering firms, mechanical contractors, EPCs,



utilities, and strategic partners.
- Develop a qualified pipeline and advance opportunities from initial discussion through contract award.
- Represent ThermStar System™ at customer meetings and industry events.
- Provide market intelligence that shapes our Canadian commercial strategy.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial business development leader with deep relationships throughout Québec's industrial community.

You should have experience selling engineered capital equipment, industrial systems, HVAC, process heating, energy systems, or other technically sophisticated solutions. You understand how industrial companies make capital decisions, are credible with executives and plant leadership, and have a reputation built on trusted customer relationships.

Fluency in both French and English and authorization to work in Canada are required.

Who You'll Work With

You'll work directly with Scott Preston, CEM®, Founder & CEO, and Tom Ray, Director of Engineering. Both bring more than 30 years of industrial experience, providing the commercial and technical leadership to support opportunities from initial customer discussions through implementation.

Compensation & Engagement

Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential and a flexible engagement structure. The engagement structure will be established in accordance with applicable Canadian and Québec legal requirements.
