Senior Cross-Border Dispatcher

All Routes Logistics is hiring an experienced Senior Cross-Border Dispatcher for our Milton, Ontario operation.

Minimum 3 years of trucking dispatch experience required, including Canada–USA cross-border experience.

Key Responsibilities
Dispatch highway and city trucks
Manage Canada → USA and USA → Canada freight
Communicate with drivers via phone and Samsara
Schedule pickups/deliveries and update Fleet Manager, Excel & TMS
Track & trace shipments and maintain accurate ETA/ETD
Manage trailers, yard activity, and equipment
Provide real-time customer updates through BluJay, E2Open & customer portals
Proactively plan and manage approximately 90% dedicated freight
Complete driver trips and maintain accurate order entry
Resolve service issues, delays, and appointment changes quickly
Broker loads when required
Monitor driver hours and support HOS compliance
Minimize empty miles and maximize truck utilization

Requirements




3+ years trucking dispatch experience
3+ years Canada–USA cross-border experience
Strong knowledge of Canadian & US trucking operations
Experience with Samsara and TMS systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment
Solid understanding of US/Canada lanes, border procedures, and driver requirements

We want a hands-on, experienced dispatcher who can take ownership of their trucks and freight, anticipate problems, keep drivers moving, and communicate proactively with customers.

This is not an entry-level position.
