Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse
Perform accurate order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stacking, organizing, and storing inventory in designated areas
Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle large or bulky items safely and effectively




Utilize clamp trucks for specialized handling of palletized or oversized loads
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution operations with a focus on forklift and order picker use
Certification in forklift operation is highly preferred; experience with clamp trucks is a plus
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform basic troubleshooting
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory tracking
Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly while maintaining proper safety procedures
Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive communication skills for team coordination
