Job Summary

Join our seasonal Snow Removal Sidewalk Crew and be a vital part of maintaining safe, accessible pathways during winter months. The seasonal position must have availability from November 15 to March 31, with full availability including nights and weekends. This energetic team member will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, and other pedestrian areas to ensure safety for the community. Duties
Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, and designated pedestrian areas using both a sidewalk tractor, snow blower and hand shovel
Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup and enhance safety, including loading salt into the tractor
Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snowfall and plan timely responses




Maintain equipment by performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues promptly
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective coverage of assigned areas during snow events
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during snow removal activities

Requirements
Must have reliable transportation and ability to get yourself to and from your starting location
Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or small machinery such as sidewalk tractors is preferred
Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
Physical stamina to shovel snow, lift heavy loads, and perform manual labor safely
Basic understanding of landscape maintenance or horticulture is beneficial but not required

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
