power systems and communication systems.Perform work in accordance with applicable Electrical codes and/or Engineering/Technical specifications.Maintain electrical equipment, according to the preventive maintenance program.Respond efficiently and effectively to electrical service calls.Your profileCollege Diploma in Electrical or Electronics TechnologyOntario Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (309-A Construction and Maintenance OR 442-A Industrial Electrician)Between three (3) to five (5) years related practical technical experienceEligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and TechnologistsValid Class G (ON) driver's license and insurable driving recordFully autonomous skills in all aspects of Programmable Logic Controllers, motor drives, field devices, generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and Remote and Operator Controlled Navigation Systems.Skilled in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical equipment below 750V.Knowledge of applicable procedures, rules, regulations, standards and safe work practices with respect to performing duties.Eligibility for Marine Transportation Security Clearance.Availability to undergo medical test, functional abilities evaluation and drugs test.Ability to work at height, depth, near open water and/or confined spaces.The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is committed to diversity by encouraging an inclusive and equitable recruitment and work environment.
