As part of our recent growth, we are looking to expand our dynamic team, and we are looking for someone with a particular set of skills.As a Design Consultant, you’ll play a hands‑on role in transforming our clients’ visions into reality while driving sales and fostering strong, lasting relationships. You’ll collaborate directly with customers, guiding them through design options, pricing, and product selections to create beautiful, functional spaces. In this quick‑paced, creative setting, you’ll stay ahead of design trends, offer expert recommendations, and work closely with internal teams to ensure each project’s success. Your design expertise, problem‑solving skills, and dedication to exceptional service will ensure every client leaves thrilled with their final result. If you’re passionate about design, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a dynamic setting, this role is for you!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Sales: Create designs and price orders based on blueprints and client measurements. Provide timely layouts, 3‑D renderings, and upgrade options. Guide clients through color, finish selections, and project timelines.Client Interaction: Meet with clients in the showroom or on‑site, ensuring all documents are approved and changes recorded. Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours, escalating as needed.Site Measures: Accurately measure client worksites, verifying appliance specs and accounting for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Complete hazard assessments per safety policies.Communication & Teamwork: Maintain daily availability and communicate schedule changes. Share knowledge and ensure coverage during absences.Account Management & Professionalism: Ensure account payments before delivery. Maintain professional dress, including PPE for site visits.Knowledge & Skills Required1+ year experience in sales, customer service, or cabinet design.Proficiency in 2020 Design software and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, project management, and client service skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and adaptable in fast‑paced settings.Valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits.Pay StructureTraining & Ramp‑up salary: $54,000 – $75,000, depending on experience. Upon the successful completion of a designated probationary period and a consistent sales pipeline have been established, the compensation structure will shift to a commission‑based structure.
