This role requires strong backend development expertise, experience working within production environments, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile workflow.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications in a production environmentImplement new product features and enhancements across the full application stack.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established best practicesParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisionsOptimize database queries and application performance within PostgreSQLDevelop and maintain background processing workflows using Sidekiq and RedisIntegrate and maintain third-party APIs and external service integrations (Twilio, Google APIs)Support and enhance search capabilities leveraging Elasticsearch (including geo-search)Implement caching strategies and performance improvementsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely mannerParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to standardsCollaborate with product managers, designers,
