Lead innovation in justice and public safety with the Department of Justice and Public Safety. This high-level role prioritizes equity and inclusion to enhance community service delivery. This position reports to the Deputy Minister, providing strategic leadership on legislation and intergovernmental relations.

You'll oversee integrated planning for comprehensive policy development and work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure that services reflect the community's needs. Your expertise in policy formulation will drive vital initiatives within the department. Key Responsibilities:
Counsel the Minister on critical policy matters
Formulate comprehensive responses for stakeholder correspondence
Direct preparation of essential briefing materials
Supervise legislative processes affecting over 120 statutes
Lead a team in executing strategic policy objectives Requirements:
Law Degree or relevant Master’s Degree
Robust background in policy research/management
Significant experience in leadership roles
Exceptional writing and presentation skills
