We’re looking for a reliable, friendly individual to join our team as part time Food Service Staff in a secondary school setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady daytime schedule and appreciates having weekends, holidays, and summers off.
You’ll be part of a small, supportive team providing nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. We’re looking to fill this role soon, so if you're ready to make a meaningful impact during the school day—we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in food service, including food prep and cash handling
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures
Competence using standard kitchen equipment
Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred)
Minimum Grade 12 education
A current police check with vulnerable sector screening (required)
A skilled and approachable demeanor appropriate for a school environment
Schedule & Details:
Monday to Friday, following the school calendar
Approximately 5–7 hours per day
Part time, contract position
