The Prospect:
The Communications Branch at the Ministry of Agriculture is looking for an experienced, strategic and people-focused Communications Director to lead a talented team of communications professionals.
This is an opportunity for a strong communicator and thoughtful leader to bring energy, creativity and sound judgment to work that supports Saskatchewan’s agriculture sector, promotes ministry programs and services and helps tell the story of one of the province’s most important industries.
In this role, you will lead strategic communications planning, issues management, media relations, internal communications, digital content and public-facing promotion. You will coach a high-performing team, bring focus to competing priorities, provide trusted advice to senior leaders and ensure communications are clear, timely and connected to the needs of producers, industry partners and the people of Saskatchewan.
