We commit to investing in your professional development and creating an setting where you can advance your career.ResponsibilitiesProvide consultation services to internal and external healthcare professionals, applying advanced theory to assess, plan, implement and evaluate pharmaceutical care.Offer clinical direction on complex cases, using evidence‑based approaches to evaluate drug therapy, attend patient care rounds, review medication histories, provide drug information, and lead patient education and discharge consultations.Maintain quality assurance programs for the specialty area, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines, conducting audits, and recommending program modifications.Provide academic teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students, coordinating curriculum planning and practicum liaison with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of British Columbia.Identify and initiate clinical drug research, developing hypotheses, overseeing research activities,



and publishing findings in scientific journals.Conduct pharmacological education and in‑service sessions for pharmacy staff, program team members, and other healthcare professionals.Participate in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, preparing materials for formulary decisions, presenting research, and providing recommendations for policy‑making.Plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic cost‑effectiveness and cost‑restraint programs, and present new or revised policies to leadership.Collaborate on team goals, objectives and outcomes, recommending policy updates for the specialty area.Represent the department on multidisciplinary care committees and external events such as conferences and regional planning groups.Provide direct pharmaceutical care, reviewing patient charts, identifying and resolving drug‑related problems, and monitoring therapy outcomes.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceCurrent registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Completion of year 1 and year 2 of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program accredited by the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board (CPRB), supplemented by two years of recent, relevant hospital pharmacy experience,
