This role combines people leadership with daily operational oversight. You will develop a team of laboratory technicians while upholding a strong culture of accountability and trust. Your hands-on involvement will ensure effective workflows and foster a productive environment among staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly coach and mentor laboratory technicians
• Create and sustain a collaborative and positive team culture
• Control staffing, schedule, and lab performance metrics
• Identify and solve daily workflow challenges
• Contribute directly to lab operations approximately 40% of the time
Requirements:
• Leadership experience managing teams of 5+ individuals
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
• Proven ability to thrive in high-volume environments
• Quick learning and adaptability to new tools
• Physically equipped to meet lab demands, including lifting
