As a proud Canadian chocolatier, Purdys Chocolatier creates connection and joy through the power of chocolate. We're looking for a dedicated Janitor to join our Chocolate Factory team in Vancouver, BC.

This is a six-month contract position with the opportunity to be considered for a permanent full-time role based on performance.

What You'll Do

As a Janitor, you'll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient facility while supporting our commitment to quality and food safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Following all company GMP, SQF, and food safety policies and procedures
- Carrying out responsibilities identified in the Purdys Quality Management System, including required documentation and quality checks
- Cleaning production and common areas throughout the facility
- Removing garbage and recycling materials daily
- Completing preventative maintenance tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting workplace safety initiatives and helping identify potential hazards
- Assisting with other duties as required

You Are a Great Fit If You:





- Are available to work Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team environment
- Have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Can complete neat, accurate, and legible records and reports
- Are physically capable of performing janitorial and cleaning duties
- Take direction well and work effectively with a variety of people
- Hold an OFA Level 2 or Level 3 certificate (considered an asset)
