Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 12 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Contractor, Data Management and Reporting Services to oversee departmental reporting, including production reports and development of new Tableau dashboards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

- Working with stakeholders on reporting, data requirements and change management
- Develop Accurate Reporting & Visualization: Develop and deliver clear reports/dashboards and intuitive visualizations to support stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dashboards/scorecards.
- User Empowerment: Provide tools, training, and BI tool access (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for self-service analytics.
- IT Collaboration: Partner with IT to resolve source system issues and enhance data feeds.
- Data Governance & Standards: Establish frameworks, maintain data dictionaries, and enforce business rules for accuracy and consistency.

Must-Have Skills:

- Data Visualization & Storytelling: Ability to create intuitive visualizations and craft compelling narratives to engage stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Data Management & Analysis: Expertise in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to drive informed business decisions.
- Advanced Tableau Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Tableau,



with the ability to design and deploy complex, interactive dashboards and reports.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Training: Strong partnership skills to understand reporting needs and provide training.
- Communication & Project Management: Excellent interpersonal skills and experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- 10+ Years in Financial Institutions: Proven track record with deep expertise in banking operations, regulations, and industry standards
- IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks to design and implement services aligned with business needs

Soft Skills Required:

- Change Management: Ability to lead change initiatives, engage stakeholders, and ensure support for organizational transitions.
