We are hiring four Apiary Technicians for the upcoming season from April 5 to November 4, 2027. Ideal candidates will assist with colony management, honey extraction, and queen-rearing while maintaining bee yard upkeep. Ongoing training is provided, as work will be outdoors and physically demanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with colony management and health monitoring
• Participate in honey extraction and processing operations
• Engage in queen-rearing and record keeping
• Maintain and repair bee equipment as needed
• Upkeep various bee yards and work vehicles
Requirements:
• Completed some secondary education
• 3-5 years of apiary experience with honey bees
• Valid driver's license with truck driving experience preferred
• Valuable physical condition for outdoor work
• Must not be allergic to bees
