Role Summary

We are seeking a Cost Analyst. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our offices in Ville St-Laurent. This individual will play a key role in supporting cost-related activities, data tracking, and performance analysis. The individual will play a central analytical role in analyzing results and will be a key player in maintaining and updating tracking tools and generating reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Cost Accounting and Performance Monitoring

- Participate in periodic cost accounting exercises and ensure the preparation of required data.
- Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of production tracking files in collaboration with production teams.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze operational and financial data from various internal sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide reliable, structured, and actionable data.
- Contribute to the identification, analysis, and monitoring of variances between standard costs and actual costs, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs).




- Support the preparation of periodic analyses and reports necessary for operational and financial decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the models, tools, dashboards, and reports used.
- Participate in updating and monitoring production costs related to the existing product portfolio.
- Participate in preparing cost estimates and analyses required for product line expansions or current product launches.

Qualifications

- Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, data science, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Excellent proficiency in Excel required
- French required, functional English to collaborate with departments in and outside of Quebec.
- Knowledge of an ERP system or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to structure complex data.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and manage multiple priorities.
