In this Full time role, you will develop, implement, and supervise engaging programming tailored to the unique needs of seniors. Your creativity and leadership will guide Life Enrichment Assistants and foster a vibrant volunteer program. An understanding of fitness and therapeutic approaches is crucial for effective programming.
Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate dynamic events and activities for residents • Directly supervise Life Enrichment assistants in daily tasks • Create exercise programs addressing cognitive and physical needs • Design special events that encourage resident involvement • Engage with community resources to enhance programming
Requirements: • Degree in Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation or similar • Proven experience in geriatric program implementation • Robust computer skills, including MS Office • Current food safety and CPR certifications • Passion for engaging seniors towards healthy lifestyles
