Role OverviewThe Site Services (Infrastructure) Summer Student will be responsible for assisting the Site Service Team with a full range of labour, maintenance, repair, and service activities. The incumbent will use considerable judgment in making decisions and be able to perform all tasks in accordance with Alamos’ workplace safety rules and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning, sweeping, shop housekeepingPerforming minor repairs of locks, doors, wallsChecking functionality of safety systems (fire alarms, fire extinguishers)Mowing lawns, cutting brushInstalling appliancesAssisting Carpenters and Labourers with projects and repairsMinor carpentry (cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials)Other tasks as assignedSkills, Knowledge, Qualifications and ExperienceExperience operating hand and power toolsExperience performing manual dutiesPossess a valid Canadian driver’s license and clear driver’s abstractGood interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a teamAbility to thrive in an environment of change; must be creative and flexibleWorking ConditionsRole is a 7-on / 7-off rotation (day shift only)Pay or shift range: $19 CAD to $31.97 CADPhysical RequirementsRole is physically demandingMust be capable of working in adverse conditionsMust be capable of lifting/carrying up to 25 kg, walking on rough terrain, standing for prolonged periods,
