Facilitator – Part-Time The Schizophrenia Society of Recent Brunswick Inc. (SSNB) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Facilitator to deliver SSNB programs and support groups throughout Northeastern New Brunswick.

If you have experience facilitating programs or support groups, working in mental health or community services, or providing caregiving support, we encourage you to apply.

Position Details

· Part-time: 22.5 hours per week, with potential for additional hours

· Starting wage: $21.00 per hour

· Location: Miramichi, NB

· Travel throughout Northeastern New Brunswick is required

· Mileage reimbursement provided for approved work-related travel

Requirements

· Experience in facilitation, mental health, community support, caregiving, or a related field is an asset.

· Diploma in Youth Care, Social Service Worker/Community Worker, or related field is an asset. Equivalent experience may be considered.

· Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

· Knowledge of mental health and mental illness.

· Solid communication, organization, and time-management skills.

· Ability to facilitate groups, programs, and presentations.





· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· English proficiency required; French is an asset.

· Willingness to learn SSNB programs and services.

Responsibilities

· Facilitate SSNB programs and support groups.

· Facilitate presentations and group sessions.

· Support community outreach throughout Northeastern New Brunswick.

· Build positive relationships with participants, families, and community partners.

· Complete required documentation and reports.

· Maintain confidentiality and follow SSNB policies and procedures
