Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Marine Cook to join our crew and provide high - profile meals in a professional marine workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and serving nutritious and appealing meals while maintaining a clean, organized and safe galley.

This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their cooking and is comfortable working as part of a vessel crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan menus and prepare daily meals for up to 30 crew

Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies and reasonable meal preferences

Order, receive, inspect and properly store food and galley supplies

Maintain accurate food inventory and minimize waste

Keep the galley, food preparation areas, equipment and storage spaces clean and sanitary

Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards





Maintain appropriate food temperatures and protected food handling practices

Manage provisions and supplies within budget

Follow all vessel safety procedures and participate in emergency drills

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a cook, preferably marine, offshore, camp or remote work experience.

Solid food and preparation menu planning skills

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to work independently

Positive organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively with a diverse crew

Physically capable of working safely in a marine environment

Valid marine medical

Valid passport

Marine cook certificate
