Join the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate in Edmonton as an Advocate dedicated to youth rights. This full time position focuses on engaging young people in child intervention and youth justice systems. As part of the OCYA, you will help young individuals understand their rights and empower them to voice their concerns.

Collaborating with families and stakeholders across northern and central Alberta, you will address systemic barriers and promote youth advocacy. Your work will be pivotal in supporting the unique needs and rights of young people. Key Responsibilities:
Champion youth voices for self-advocacy
Facilitate meetings with youth and stakeholders
Identify trends affecting young people's rights
Educate the community about the OCYA and youth advocacy
Work collaboratively on strategic initiatives Requirements:
University degree in relevant fields
At least four years' experience with youth support
Supervisory capacity is desirable
Valid class 5 driver's license required
Experience with Indigenous peoples and communities preferred Your role in advocating for youth will drive impactful change in their lives.
