Take charge as a Mechanical FM Contract Manager specializing in commercial heating and plumbing in Peterborough/Cambridgeshire. Oversee maintenance contracts and lead engineering teams effectively. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of 8 Gas Engineers responsible for effective heating and plumbing maintenance in commercial, manufacturing, and educational facilities.
Your leadership will ensure the seamless delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance services, as well as project delivery for any variations or additional tasks. A solid grasp of maintenance contract execution is essential to excel. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee gas maintenance and plumbing contracts
Manage a team of field engineers and subcontractors
Organize workload and scheduling for efficiency
Facilitate maintenance service delivery across diverse sites
Handle extra project works and variations as needed Requirements:
Experience in commercial plumbing and heating
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating is desirable
Relevant certifications like SMSTS/SSSTS are a plus
Gas Protected or OFTEC qualifications beneficial
Strong understanding of maintenance delivery models Lead maintenance efficiency and elevate service quality across educational and commercial portfolios.
