D-Tech Line Locators Ltd. is looking for motivated, hardworking people who enjoy the outdoors and want to start a long-term career in the energy and utility industry.

If you’d rather be outside exploring remote areas than stuck in an office all day, this could be the perfect fit.

As a Line Locating Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians helping locate and mark underground utilities throughout NE British Columbia. Every day is different — from hiking through the bush to traveling industrial sites and working in some of the most scenic areas in the province.

No previous locating experience is required — we provide training and prospects for advancement within the company.

What We’re Looking For
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions




Physically capable of hiking and working in remote areas
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused
ATV or snowmobile experience is an asset, but not required
