EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT – MIDDLE SCHOOL
Abbotsford Christian School is accepting applications for a MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT. This is a full time fixed-term position and commences immediately. Compensation ranges from $27.76 to $34.72 per hour, based on qualifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- SETA Certificate, Education Assistant Certificate, or related training
- Training and experience in behaviour intervention or applied behaviour analysis
- Demonstrated experience in providing learning support to students with complex needs and learning challenges (i.e. FASD, ASD, ADHD, LD, DCD)
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of inclusive educational practices
- Ability to demonstrate competent technology skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to perform the required duties within an emotionally and physically demanding environment
- Clear commitment to Christian faith and participation in a local Christian church community
