Part-Time English & Math Teacher/Tutor

About

Oxford Learning Kerrisdale is seeking a part‑time teacher‑tutor to work with students from kindergarten through Grade 12. The role is in‑person, pre‑planned lessons, and training in the Oxford Learning philosophy.

Responsibilities

- Teach up to three students at a time, using pre‑planned lesson plans.
- Deliver instruction both online and in‑person.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
- Complete daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or related certification, or university students with tutoring experience.
- Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.
- Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 level.
- Robust English written and oral communication skills.




- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Requirements

- Work 2-4 days a week from 3:30 pm‑6:30 pm and/or Saturdays 9:00 am‑12:00 pm; a year‑long commitment preferred.
- In‑person position; must commute to 2115 W 38th Ave., Vancouver, BC.
- Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
- Relocation packages not available.
- Applicants must reside within a short commute of the Kerrisdale area.
