You’ll be joining a tight-knit, experienced crew in a clean, organized shop with steady work and long-term potential.ADVANTAGESGreat starting pay rate of $28-$34/hrStraight day shifts Monday - Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm with OT on FridaysFantastic team of people that you get to work withGreat location in the north end of Hamilton on a bus routeRESPONSIBILITIES10 plus years of traditional fitting experienceFit independently with extensive experience in tooling and jigsTake on leadership and guidance as neededSafely operate an overhead crane to move materials and equipment.Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.Choose the right tools and equipment for each job to ensure good results.Work well with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.Take care of tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition.Solve problems and find solutions when welding issues arise.REQUIREMENTS5 + years of experience of fitting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Proficiency in FCAW (Flux Core)Robust welding and fitting abilitiesExperience working with thick gauge material up to 3 inches, multipass, structural steelAbility to operate various welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the welding industry.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
