This role is vital for ensuring public safety on roads and operates Monday to Friday. As part of the Engineering & Public Works team, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of road maintenance tasks, including operating heavy machinery and performing essential snow and ice control.

The position requires robust technical skills in asphalt maintenance and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:
Break up damaged pavement and prepare for repairs
Operate heavy machinery, including tamper rollers
Set up and monitor traffic control for road safety
Inspect equipment to maintain operational standards
Manage snow and ice removal with service vehicles Requirements:
High school diploma complemented by 2 years’ experience
Certification in Snow and Ice Removal is a must
Current Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence
Experience with engineering drawings preferred
