Join the Government of Nunavut as a Full time Mental Health Consultant. This role is focused on providing mental health care and promoting wellness through a holistic, culturally relevant approach. The position requires robust experience in counselling or trauma therapy, with a minimum of five years in the field.

You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to address mental health needs, conduct assessments, and develop client strategies. Be prepared to advocate for client dignity and maintain their rights. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and implement client mental health care plans
Conduct suicide risk assessments and mental exams
Develop strategies for client self-efficacy
Keep client records accurate and confidential
Work collaboratively with community resources Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work or a related field
Five years’ direct front-line counselling experience
Knowledge of Inuit language and culture is ideal
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
