Title: Assembler/Fabricator

Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00PM

Night Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM ($1/hr premium on Night shifts) (hours subject to change)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking multiple Fabricators/Assemblers to join an elevator manufacturing team. These individuals will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, and assembling metal components in a production environment while following blueprints and quality standards.

Successful candidates will have at least two years of manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on experience using a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly-line fabrication and assembly work.

• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications.

• Complete light welding, tack welding, and spot welding as required.

• Glue, fasten, bolt, and fit parts together to complete assemblies.

• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches.

• Grind, sand, and finish metal components to meet quality requirements.

• Inspect completed parts for proper fit, alignment, and overall quality.

• Follow established safety procedures and production standards.

Record production information using computerized systems when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE





• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.

• Experience using hand and power tools, including grinders and drills.

• Experience fabricating, fitting, and assembling metal components.

• Ability to work the afternoon shift after completing the initial training period.

• Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in mechanically focused assembly.

• Light, spot, MIG, or TIG welding experience.

• Experience in elevator, structural metal, automotive, HVAC, or similar manufacturing environments.

• Experience using measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, or gauges.

• Trade school education or certification in welding or metal fabrication.

Pay Transparency:

The expected hour rate for this position falls between $24 to $29/hr + Benefits & RRSP Matching
