Responsibilities
Develop tailored lesson plans that align with each student’s language goals, proficiency level, and learning style
Deliver interactive tutoring sessions in French, incorporating speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises
Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes
Foster a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and cultural appreciation
Support students in developing effective language learning techniques and confidence in real-world communication
Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement




Collaborate with parents or guardians (for younger learners) to communicate progress and address individual needs

Experience
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching French at various levels, including classroom experience or private lessons
Fluency in French with strong writing skills to effectively communicate concepts and provide constructive feedback
Proficiency in English for explicit instruction and support; additional languages such as Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese are a plus
Demonstrated ability to work with children and adapt teaching methods to diverse age groups and learning styles
Experience working with students from different cultural backgrounds is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for language education
