You'll be at the heart of CIBC's digital transformation, building easy, flexible, and personalized banking solutions to enhance client experience and change the way that people bank.
As a Consultant, Full Stack Developer you will be joining the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering Technology group working in the Global Screening Solutions (GSS) team where you will be actively participate in developing, testing and supporting the implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Within a team of senior team members, you'll broaden your technical skills and help build the bank of the future.
- Design and Development -Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions. Leverage AI to analyze data, automate tasks, and turn complex information into clear, actionable insights that support faster, better decision-making. While maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and business value.
- Planning and Coordination - Effectively interact with internal stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications. You will also lead the effort estimation process for project or intake-driven requirements, soliciting the appropriate inputs,
completing the required documentation and ensuring adequate reviews.
- Leadership Skills -Act as a development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.Who You Are- You can demonstrate experience in:developing, testing, and implementing using Databricks, Oracle PL/SQL and query tuning. You have experience in UNIX/Linux scripting, application programing such as SQL, Java and JASON. You have experience using job scheduler systems such as AutoSys. You have experience working on Unix, Linux and Microsoft operating systems. And have worked with a variety SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile). You also have worked with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop and Spark. Your experience system analysis, testing and troubleshooting would be an asset. It's an asset if :Having Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) experience and understanding of real time and batch architectures. Nice to have: Familiar with Anti-Monney Laundering Sanction Screening. You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
