Responsibilities
Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
Ensure all items are sanitized and stored correctly to meet health and safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of clean dishes for service
Follow safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
Support overall restaurant cleanliness by assisting with trash disposal and floor cleaning when necessary

Skills




Solid knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a food service environment
Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food handling and safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
