Responsibilities
Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and storage areas
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and restocking supplies as directed by chefs or kitchen managers
Support food handling protocols to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health regulations
Help with organizing dishware and utensils for easy access during busy service times
Follow safety guidelines to prevent slips,



trips, or injuries in the kitchen setting

Qualifications
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Basic understanding of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and organization
Valuable communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Knowledge of food handling procedures, meal preparation, or cooking skills are a plus but not mandatory
