Become a vital member of Emergency Medical Care Inc. as a Critical Care Flight Nurse in Nova Scotia. This temporary position demands expertise in critical patient care and advanced medical interventions for air and ground transport. As a Critical Care Flight Nurse, you will collaborate within the LifeFlight team, providing exceptional care to patients during air and ground transportation.

Your role will involve conducting advanced patient assessments, stabilization, and documentation, adhering to protocols governed by the EHS LifeFlight Medical Director. Demonstrating critical thinking and clinical skills in a confined space while ensuring safety is essential in this high-pressure workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced patient care within the RN's scope




Perform patient assessments and interventions efficiently
Document patient care records accurately
Operate critical life support equipment safely
Maintain ongoing qualified competencies through education Requirements:
BScN/BN or other nursing degree required
Minimum five years clinical experience, three in critical care
Current BLS-C and ACLS certifications
Previous air/ground transport experience is an asset
