America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You’ll Be DoingPerform general duties in support of mining operations including clean up of material spills and housekeeping in all areas of the mine to company standards.Train to safely support other mine team members, including mechanics, crusher operators, rail loaders and mine equipment operators in all areas of the mine.Safely operate small equipment, rigid frame haul trucks, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, and underground scoop trams.Safely follow all standard procedures including vehicle equipment inspections, reporting of deficiencies, fueling, greasing of equipment, vehicle segregation and traffic controls.What Are We Looking ForUnderground mining experience is an asset.Heavy Equipment or Haul Truck experience in a mine site (certification is an asset,



but not required – we certify onsite)Mechanical aptitude and equipment awareness is an asset.The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player and communicating effectively.Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
