Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our team in Old Quebec. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our cafe runs smoothly, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality food and beverages.
Responsibilities
Barista
Food and Preparation
Provide excellent customer service
Operate the POS system for transactions
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe
Handle cash and perform cashiering duties
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation or service is preferred
Robust customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to operate POS systems effectively
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Valuable time management skills to handle busy periods
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks as needed
