Active Minds Counselling

Active Minds Counselling is looking for a warm, skilled Psychotherapist or Social Worker who loves working with neurodivergent children, teens, and families. If you enjoy helping kids and parents make real progress through practical, individualized strategies — and want to be part of a supportive, kind, and growing practice — this may be the right fit for you.

Our work focuses on ADHD, anxiety, emotion regulation, school refusal, and parent support, and we value therapy that is engaging, solution-focused, and tailored to each unique child and family.

Active Minds Counselling provides counselling to children, teens, parents, adults, and families and is based in a welcoming permanent office space. We are a supportive and down-to-earth practice where clinicians are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and develop their strengths.

Responsibilities
Provide counselling to children, teens, and/or adults
Support parents and families when appropriate
Maintain clinical documentation and notes
Manage scheduling and caseload
Practice ethically and professionally

Qualifications
Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW (or eligible for registration)
Skilled liability insurance
Experience working with children and teens preferred




Experience working with neurodivergent clients (ADHD, ASD, executive functioning, emotional regulation) is an asset
Strong rapport-building and communication skills
Ability to work independently while being part of a team
