Join CNIB as an Associate for Philanthropy Initiatives in Toronto. Focus on grant writing, donor engagement, and impactful event planning designed to enhance fundraising strategies.
This role works closely with the Ontario Philanthropy team, engaging directly with the Director of Corporate & Foundation Partnerships. Responsibilities include maintaining donor information, developing proposals, and ensuring high-quality stewardship practices. You will play an integral part in supporting revenue generation and community involvement through charitable efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer donor databases for effective information management
• Provide vital support to solicitors in fundraising efforts
• Craft competitive funding applications and proposals
• Sustain detailed records of donor stewardship activities
• Organize and manage events and special fundraising projects
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, especially major giving
• Solid skills in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
• BA or equivalent in business or fundraising management
• Familiarity with assistive technology is a plus
