Algonquin Bridge Limited is seeking a Bridge Structural Engineer in Thorndale, Ontario, dedicated to excellence in modular bridge and infrastructure design. This full-time role emphasizes complex engineering solutions and team-oriented teamwork. In this role, you will utilize your P.Eng. credentials to influence the technical aspects of various bridge projects.
Engage with clients, site teams, and fabricators through every phase of the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards and leading technical reviews. Your mentorship of junior engineers will also promote growth and innovation within the team. Key Responsibilities:
Design and review prefabricated bridge systems
Perform load calculations and FEA
Oversee project feasibility to construction
Conduct QA/QC to ensure regulatory compliance
Assist in developing new engineering processes and materials Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in three provinces
Over five years of relevant experience
Familiarity with bridge design codes and software
