Lead the design of high voltage substations in Vancouver, BC with a leading AI Cloud Service Provider. Own the engineering process for scaling advanced data center projects. As a High Voltage Design Engineer, you will act as the Owner's representative, steering the design of high and medium voltage substations across the company's Canadian facilities.

Working closely with a talented team, you will ensure that substation solutions meet industry standards while enhancing the company’s AI capabilities. This role offers the chance to innovate substation design practices while supporting a rapidly expanding infrastructure portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

- Design HV/MV substations, including layouts and protection systems
- Review various engineering studies for project effectiveness




- Develop templates to facilitate quick design deployment
- Manage external engineering consultants for project deliveries
- Provide technical support throughout construction phases Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Systems
- 7-10 years of substation experience required
- Expertise in delivering projects from concept to completion
- Knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards
