MacLachlan College is actively seeking a dedicated part-time Student Early Childhood Educator to assist Registered Early Childhood Educators in providing aftercare for young students. In this role, you will supervise, guide, and engage children in various activities, helping them develop socially and emotionally in a structured setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support RECEs in delivering aftercare services
• Supervise diverse indoor and outdoor activities
• Encourage participation in crafts and games
• Promote positive social interactions among peers
• Help maintain a secure and organized space
Requirements:
• Experience with children is advantageous
• Basic child development knowledge is ideal
• Awareness of the Child Care and Early Years Act is helpful
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• Strong cooperative skills and a reliable approach
