Join Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland as a Manager of 1:1 Mentoring Programs. This position, based in Vancouver, focuses on program oversight, team leadership, and community engagement.
In this full-time role, you will manage critical mentoring programs that support youth development. Lead a dedicated team to ensure effective service delivery and develop impactful community partnerships. Your expertise will help enhance program visibility and participant experiences.
Key Responsibilities: • Ensure program alignment with agency goals and funder requirements • Conduct program evaluations and improve services • Mentor staff and foster a cooperative team culture • Manage volunteer screening and training processes • Engage with community organizations for outreach
Requirements: • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field • 5-7 years in children/youth program management • 3+ years in staff leadership and supervision • Experience with community engagement and evaluation • Strong organizational and communication skills
