Help preserve Inuit language and culture as an Instructor for Curriculum Development with the Government of Nunavut. Deliver high-quality education tailored to Inuit adults. This term position is available exclusively for Nunavut Inuit and runs until March 31, 2028.

The role focuses on delivering culturally relevant instruction while enhancing curriculum and instructional resources across multiple learning formats. Collaboration with community members and continuous improvement of educational practices are crucial components of this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Create and deliver courses in various formats
- Enhance Inuit Language and Culture curriculum
- Utilize digital tools to support online learning
- Work with Elders and instructors for program improvement
- Implement culturally relevant teaching methods Requirements:
- Education in Linguistics, Inuit Studies, or related area
- Minimum three years' teaching experience preferred
- Fluency in Inuktitut and English necessary
- Knowledge of Inuit land and culture considered an asset
- Background checks are required Contribute to enriching the lives of students through effective language instruction at the Government of Nunavut.
