As aLead Front & Back-End DeveloperatAstucemedia, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural vision and daily execution. Working in a high-collaboration environment, you will partner closely with ourTechnical Project Manager (TPM)andPrincipal Architect, while being supported byStaff/Senior Developersin both Front-end and Back-end.

This role requires a balanced30/70 splitbetween people management and technical oversight. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are comfortable meetingshort, high-stakes deadlinestypical of live television, and are ready towitnessthe impact of your workonsitewhen necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- People Leadership & Delivery (30%)

Team Mentorship:Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 6developers. Conduct 1-on-1s, manage performance, and foster a culture of excellence.

TPM Partnership:Workhand-in-handwith theTechnical Project Managerto ensure technical feasibility andmaintaina steady delivery pace, even under tight production schedules.





Onsite Deployment:Occasionally travel to client sites (a few weeks per year) to oversee the integration and launch of major projects.(candidate must be able to travel to US without restrictions).

- Technical Excellence & Hands-on Development (70%)

Core Development:Actively write andmaintainproduction-quality code for critical system components. You will lead by example, tackling complex features across the full stack (Angular, and .NET Core).

High-Level Code Review & Mentoring:In tandem with the Staff Dev and SeniorBack-end, you perform rigorous code reviews to ensure the codebaseremainsrobust, scalable, and follows industry best practices.

System Integration & Cohesion:Take a hands-on approach to ensuring seamless integration betweenAngular webapplications andNode.js / .NET Corebackend services,maintainingend-to-end logic integrity.

Performance Optimization:Collaborate to optimizereal-time data streams (Kafka,WebSockets) and infrastructure (Docker, CI/CD pipelines) to guarantee zero-failure performance during high-pressure live broadcasts.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:10+ years in software development with a proventrack recordin leadership or Lead Tech roles.

Agility:Ability to remain calm and focused while working withshort deadlinesand evolving project requirements.

Frontend Expertise:understanding ofAngular,HTML5, and CSS3.

Backend & Data Proficiency: Strongproficiencyin C# / .NET Core.

Solid grasp ofAPI design(REST,GraphQL) andmessaging protocols(AMQP, MQTT,WebSockets).

Infrastructure:ProficiencywithDocker,Git, and schema validation.

Soft Skills:Exceptional communication, problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to travel.

Languages:Proficiencyin Englishisrequired; bilingualism inFrenchis a strongasset.
