Become a Culinary Cook at Sienna Senior Living, making a difference in Bobcaygeon at Aspira Kawartha Lakes. Engage in meal preparation and support residents' dietary needs every Thursday and Friday.
This role offers the chance to work in a rewarding environment, focusing on delivering nutritious, delicious meals for our residents. You will operate under a biweekly schedule, preparing meals that adhere to necessary dietary restrictions and temperatures while providing excellent service. In this role, you will also play a part in the onboarding of new kitchen associates and uphold safety and quality standards in food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare food according to menu and recipes daily
• Manage kitchen setup and monitor food quality




• Provide meals that meet dietary restrictions accurately
• Oversee kitchen operations in absence of leadership
• Help in training current members of the kitchen team
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Safe Food Handling Certification required
• Background in food preparation in health or hospitality settings
• Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach
• Canadian work eligibility and clean criminal record check
