Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Logistics Coordinator - Transport M/F

Position Summary:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be integrated into the Supply and Production Control & Logistic Directorate, at our Mirabel assembly site, within the Transport & Customs department.

Responsibilities:

Logistics for integration sites is provided by a team of Coordinators present on the various sites. For Mirabel, logistics activities are entrusted to service providers and certain suppliers around the world. One of the roles of the transport & customs department is therefore to act as a link between the service providers, suppliers, our Production and Supply Chain services in order to guarantee process performance and Customer satisfaction

Tasks :

The Logistics Coordinator position mainly covers Transport activities, and you will notably be in charge of:

International flows and customs with activities of:

- Coordinate the flow of parts (import and export) to manufacturing sites (USA, Morocco, Tunisia, Germany, China) or customers abroad, integrating customs aspects and working closely with the legal/customs teams of Airbus Atlantic and suppliers.

- Share logistics constraints with the Production and Supply Chain teams in order to guarantee deliveries according to Quality, Cost and Delay (QCD) objectives.

- Manage transport contracts,



monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and the quality of service of carriers.

- Draft specifications during calls for tenders and update them as needed throughout the duration of the contracts.

- Analyze logistical malfunctions within your scope and manage the associated corrective and preventive action plan.

Deliveries and customer relations by:

- Act as a privileged logistics contact and facilitator with the program and customers during final deliveries.

- Anticipate, communicate and plan deliveries by coordinating actions between production, the service provider and the customer.

- Update delivery procedures to capitalize on know-how, secure and optimize the flows of the logistics service across all programs.

Management of the logistics service provider by:

- Ensure the operational capacity of the service provider with regard to load and production plans.

- Coordinate and prioritize the service provider's activities based on production imperatives and customer requirements.

- Guarantee and control strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules and Quality requirements by the service provider.

Budget preparation and expense monitoring including:

- Participate, with the transport manager,



in the construction of the forecasted budget for logistics activities on transport activities and various flows between integration sites and FALs.

- Ensure the placement of purchase orders, validate the associated computer receipts (SAP) and manage the budget throughout the year.

- Control, validate and process transport and customs invoices, manage tariff disputes with service providers, and ensure accounting monitoring (analytical allocations and FNP provisions) to guarantee compliance with the budget.

Profile sought :

With a 5-year post-secondary degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics Management, you have significant experience in the field of global transport and logistics. You master transport trades, Supply Chain issues as well as international legal and customs aspects (import/export).

Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you easily play a role of cross-functional interface between customers, production, logistics service providers and carriers. Proactive and solution-oriented, you have strong analytical and synthesis skills. Fluency in French (oral and written) is mandatory, accompanied by functional English.
